Apple M1 Support

Apple M1 chip isn't currently supported. The reason, why it is not working - is requirements of py-cpuinfo, that currently is not supporting M1 cpu and knows nothing about it.

Are there any plans to implement M1 support?

Hi @margiani,

Yes, M1 chip should be supported in AI Benchmark v1.0. We will be doing its private beta-testing in one-two weeks, let me know if you would like to participate in it.
Great news, thanks! I would like to participate in beta testing. I have a couple of new Mac minis at work, it would be great to check if their ML performance is as good as Apple ads say.

HI! I am also interested in beta testing, I have run the benchmark on M1 Pro and have noticed Training completes, but Inference fails on the GNMT-Translation (19)

Has anyone made this work yet?
